Crystal Palace to sign Pape Souare

Crystal Palace are inching closer to sealing a deal for Senegalese defender Pape Souare, according to The Mirror.

The report claims that Eagles boss Alan Pardew is said to be on the brink on signing the Lille full-back on a three-and-a-half year deal.

Pardew had initially been interested in a move from Swansea City's Neil Taylor, but has now turned his focus folllowing a break down in talks over the 24-year-old with the South Welsh outfit.

Souare is currently with the national side at the African Cup of Nations held in Equitorial Guinea.
