John Terry hopeful of Chelsea stay
Chelsea's legendary defender and skipper John Terry is confident that he will be offered a new deal at Stamford Bridge.
The former England international, whose existing deal at the Blues expires in the summer, revealed that he is yet to be offered a new contract.
Terry has insisted that he is hopeful of sealing a new contract at the West London outfit, in spite of manager Jose Mourinho keen on securing the long-term future of the young brigade at the club.
"I think we both respect the position. There are a lot more important players to sort out. Eden Hazard has just signed a new contract and, for me, that's the most important for the club." the 34-year-old said.
"I want to stay and hopefully my performances are showing that, and they can keep me."
Terry has made 34 appearances for the Blues this season.
