Liverpool plan bid for Adriano

Liverpool are believed to be readying a summer bid for Barcelona defender Adriano, according to The People.

The Brazilian defender who can play as either right-back or left-back, has struggled to earn sufficient game-time under Luis Enrique this season.

The People reports that the Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is keeping tabs on the 30-year-old, who is said to welcome a switch to the Premier League in the summer.

In addition to this, Liverpool could make a bid of around £7m bid for the talented full-back.

Adriano's current deal at Barca expires in the summer of 2017.
