Toby Alderweireld unsure over So'ton future

Belgian international Toby Alderweireld has admitted that he is unsure as to where he will be plying his trade next season.

The 26-year-old joined the Saints on a season-long loan from Atletico Madrid over the summer, and has seen then played a crucial role in the club's progress.

Saints manager Ronald Koeman has recently hinted that the club will try and sign the talented defender on a permanent deal in the summer.

However, Alderweireld is likely to play the waiting game with a host of top European clubs believed to be interested in his services.

"In any case, that they speak well of one does not hurt anyone. If they speak well of me that signifies that I am having a good season," He told Fan magazine.

"I am not going to hide it – it is nice to read this kind of stuff. I feel good in the Premier League, but I have no idea about any concrete interest."

Alderweireld has made 18 appearances for the South Coast outfit this season.
