Arjen Robben dismisses Man Utd transfer talk
Netherlands international Arjen Robben has played down talks over a move to Manchester United in the summer.
It had been reported that Louis van Gaal could lure the former Chelsea man to Old Trafford given his excellent relationship with the player.
However, Robben has admitted that his respect for Van Gaal is unlikely to influence him into a switch to the Premier League in the near future.
"From the first day he made me feel important. He gave me an important role and I had a great first year. I am very thankful to him. He is a coach who makes individual players better. That is rare nowadays." He said.
"The life I have with my family is so good, the team has been successful. If things were not going so well, maybe (joining United) would be the first option, but he knows I am happy."
