Arsenal tracking Hector Moreno

Arsenal are believed to be among the clubs interested in signing Mexican international Hector Moreno, according to a Spanish source.

The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger opted to sign Gabriel Paulista last winter, in order to boost the club's back-line.

However, with Per Mertesacker reaching the limelight of his career, the French manager is keen on recruiting a new centre-back to his defensive setup.

According to Spanish daily Marca, the North London outfit are keeping tabs on the talented defender, since his recovery from a broken leg sustained at the World Cup finals in Brazil last summer.
