Neil Taylor on Liverpool radar

Swansea City full-back Neil Taylor has emerged as a surprise target for Liverpool ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Welsh international, who has a year left in his current deal at Swansea City, is expected to head of the club at the end of the season.

According to ESPN, the Swans will look to offload Taylor in the summer, having failed to do so in January.

The report adds that the 26-year-old is now regarded as a transfer option for Liverpool, whose manager Brendan Rodgers is keen on signing a left-back with sufficient Premier League experience.

Taylor has been ever-present for the Swans this season.
