Chelsea in for Andres Gomes?

Chelsea are planning a summer offer to sign Valencia midfielder Andre Gomes, The Mirror reports.

Blues manager Jose Mourinho will look to bolster his squad this summer by signing a top-class midfielder.

The 21-year-old has been in excellent touch for the Portuguese national side recently, and this is believed to have been noted by the Chelsea scouting network.

According to The Mirror, Mourinho could consider making a summer bid in the region on £26m offer for Gomes, but Los Che are unlikely to offload their star asset for anything less than his £36m release.

It is also understood that Jorge Mendes who happens to be the agent of both Mourinho and Gomes could play apart in securing the player's transfer to Stamford Bridge.
