Real Madrid keeping tabs on Sterling
Real Madrid are monitoring the progress of Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling, according to legendary midfielder Zinedine Zidane.
The Real Madrid legend, who currently manages Real Madrid's Castila side, has admitted that the England international is one of the several youngsters from around Europe being tracked by the club's scouts.
"We know who Raheem Sterling is, and of course we are monitoring him as a player." He told The Guardian
"There are very few players in the world who can improve the Real Madrid squad, so it is going to make sense we monitor the progress of the best young players in the world. We monitored [Gareth] Bale for over a year, the same with Isco and also [Raphael] Varane."
Sterling has been heavily tipped to exit Liverpool in the summer, having rebuffed a £100,000-a-week contract.
