Lucas on loan to Roma?
Liverpool's young Brazilian Lucas Leiva could be heading to Serie A on loan in January after Roma announced their interest in signing the youngster. Rafa Benitez is known to be a huge admirer of the midfielder, but may allow him to join Roma on loan to garner top flight experience.
It is believed that Roma may even pay a small fee to take Leiva off Liverpool's hands for a short while; and Lucas himself may see this as a fantastic opportunity to pick up some games for a top club.
He made his debut at Anfield on the 28th of August in a Champions League Qualifier against Toulouse. He made his Premier League debut on 20 October against Everton FC, but has not appeared that often since, kept out of the side by Xabi Alonso and Javier Mascherano in the middle of the park.
