Jordan Henderson signs new Liverpool contract
Liverpool have announced that star midfielder Jordan Henderson has put pen to paper on a new long-term deal with the club.
The England international's future at Liverpool had been in doubt, with his previous contract set to expire at the end of next season.
The length of the contract is yet to be disclosed, but the former Black Cats midfielder says that he is delighted to have committed his long-term future at the Merseyside giants.
"I'm over the moon that it's finally done," Henderson told the club's official website. "There has been talk about it for a while now. It's brilliant news for me to commit my future to this football club."
Henderson joined the Reds from Sunderland in the summer of 2011.
