Sampdoria favourites to sign Balotelli

Sampdoria are front-runners to sign up Liverpool flop Mario Balotelli at the end of the season.

Balotelli is expected to make away from the Reds this summer, with manager Brendan Rodgers not convinced with his abilities upfront.

The Mail reports that the former City star could be set for a return to his homeland, with Sampdoria keen on acquiring his signature.

The Italy international joined the Reds from AC Milan last summer.
