Wolfsburg interested in Benteke
Bundesliga side Wolfsburg will make a summer bid for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke, according to a German source.
The Belgian international has been in goal-scoring form for the Villans in recent months, and this has attracted interest from top clubs in Europe.
According to German sports daily Bild, the Wolves are keen to challenge Bayern Munich for the Bundesliga next season, and consider Benteke as the perfect player to provide them with a boost upfront.
Reports elsewhere suggest that Tim Sherwood would be willing to part ways with the star striker, should any club match their asking price of £30m.
