Lyon attacking midfielder Maxime Gonalons is amongst a list of three transfer targets from France for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. The Gunners want to follow up their impressive campaign with the addition of two new signings in the off season.
20Lyon man Gonalons is considered one of France's best midfield prospects and has been monitored by several Premier League teams including Man Utd and Chelsea. Gonalons has been with Lyon for over 6 years and is said to now be ready to move to England. The player had two years remaining on his contract with the Ligue 1 giants. Arsene Wenger is hoping to open formal discussions with Lyon in July.
