Gareth Bale denies Real Madrid exit rumours
Welsh winger Gareth Bale has categorically denied that he will be leaving Real Madrid in the summer. Bale has been linked with a return to the Premier League, with Liverpool and Man Utd both interested. Gareth Bale has endured a miserable campaign in Spain, where Real's supporters have even blamed the winger for their poor recent form.
However, newly appointed Real Madrid manager Rafa Benitez has suggested that he will build his new look Bernabeu side around the Welshman.
A disappointing campaign that saw bitter rivals Barcelona win a European and domestic treble finished with Carlo Ancelotti - one of Bale's great fans - to be removed from his post at Real.
But the future potentially looks brighter for Bale, who has insisted the next year will be spent in Spain.
"Of course, yes," Bale quipped. "I'm a Real Madrid player and I'll carry on as normal. I am enjoying it and hopefully I can continue to.
"I feel settled. I'm looking forward now to playing and winning more trophies. My goal is to keep improving, performing and to win as many titles as I can."
