Liverpool weigh up Carlos Bacca offer

Liverpool will look to land the signature of Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca, if they fail in the pursuit of Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke.

The Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is keen on strengthening the club's attack front this summer, with the likes of Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert expected to make away from Anfield.

Reports in Spain claim the Reds may opt to move in for the Colombian international who has been in top form for the Europa League champions in recent seasons.

Bacca scored 28 goals in 55 appearances for Sevilla last term.
