Real Madrid are planning a summer swoop for Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny following a breakdown in talks with Sergio Ramos.

Ramos is understood to be keen on a switch to Old Trafford this summer, and this could force Los Blancos into bringing in an experienced central defender to the Bernabeu.

French international Laurent Koscielny has been in top form for the Gunners in recent season, and The Mirror cites that the La Liga giants are ready to bid a £21m fee to land his signature.
