Sampdoria not interested in Liverpool flop
Italian side Sampdoria will not seek to bring in Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli this summer.
It has been reported last month that the Serie A outfit were keen on signing up the Italian international who has had a tough spell with the Reds.
However, Italian sources cite that Sampdoria coach Walter Zenga are no longer interested in the former Manchester City striker.
It is understood that Balotelli was not willing to take a pay-cut and this played a part in putting off the proposed move.
Balotelli joined the Reds from AC Milan last summer.
