Chelsea in Begovic talks

Chelsea are in crunch talks to sign Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic during this summer's transfer window.

The Bosnian international has been a key member at the Potters in recent seasons, and his performances have attracted interest from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United over the past year.

The Mail now cites that the Blues' hierarchy have begun talks with Stoke for the talented shot-stopper following the sale of Petr Cech to Arsenal.

However, it is yet to be known whether Begovic would prefer to play as an understudy to Thibaut Courtois at Stamford Bridge.
