Man City closing in on Fabian Delph?

Manchester City look firm favourites to land the signature of Aston Villa skipper Fabian Delph during this summer's transfer window.

The England international was one of the stand out performers in a dismal campaign for the Villans, who eventually finished 17th in the league.

It is now widely reported that the Citizens will look to trigger Delph's release clause which currently stands at just £10m.

City are expected to make an official bid for the talented midfielder next month, as Manuel Pellegrini seeks to recoup funds by offloading some of the club's out-of-favour players.
