Chelsea to beat Man Utd to Nicolas Otamendi?

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly told super agent Jorge Mendes to broker a summer deal for Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi.

The Argentina international has been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford, with Louis van Gaal keen on bolstering his backline.

However, Superdeporte claims that the Blues may give a fight for the player's signature, with Jose Mourinho having told his agent Jorge Mendes to work on the possibility of bringing Otamendi to Stamford Bridge this summer.
