Everton to loan out Luke Garbutt
Everton manager Roberto Martinez has admitted that he is open to sending defender Luke Garbutt on loan next season.
The 22-year-old recently signed a five-year deal at the Toffees, but is still behind England international Leighton Baines in the pecking order.
Martinez has now revealed that he could consider sending the young left-back on a season-long loan in order to gain valuable first-team experience.
"What is important for Luke is for him to play. He has to experiment in the game and learn from the game, and if it is in the Premier League it has to be in an environment where he can play." he said.
Bournemouth have shown interest in signing Garbutt on a temporary basis.
