West Ham United join Charlie Austin chase

West Ham United have reportedly joined the pursuit to sign Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin.

The Hammers are expected to offload either Matt Jarvis or Kevin Nolan this summer, as they look to recoup funds to bring in new recruits.

Austin is expected to make way from the R's in the current transfer window, and The Mail cites that the East Londoners have joined the race to sign the £15m-rated hitman.

The 26-year-old notched up 18 goals in his debut season in the Premier League.
