Chelsea clear to sign Baba Rahman

Chelsea look favourites to sign up Augsburg defender Abdul Baba Rahman during the summer transfer window.

The Ghana international was impressive for the German side as they finished fifth in the Bundesliga last season.

Rahman has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge since May, and The Mirror now claims that the Blues will look to land the player's signature once they recoup funds from the sale of Filipe Luis to Atletico Madrid.

The Blues will begin their Premier League campaign with a home game against Swansea City on August 8.
