West Brom make Rickie Lambert offer

West Bromwich Albion are looking at the prospect of signing up out-of-favour Liverpool striker Rickie Lambert this summer.

The England international is expected to leave the Reds, as they close in on the signing of Aston Villa star Christian Benteke.

According to The Mirror, Baggies boss Tony Pulis has made an offer for the former Saints star, who is considering his future at Anfield following a frustrating debut season.

Lambert joined the Merseyside giants from Southampton for a £4m fee last summer.
