Chelsea prepare £26m John Stones bid

Chelsea will make a new bid for defender John Stones, in spite of Everton claiming that the player is not for sale.

The England international was David Moyes' last signing as Toffees manager.

According to The Mirror, Blues boss Jose Mourinho has refused to give up on the 21-year-old, and will come up with a renewed offer of around £26m for the central defender in the near future.

Stones joined the Merseyside outfit from Barnsley for £3m in 2013.
