Arsenal to keep hold of Calum Chambers

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has iterated that defender Calum Chambers will play a part in the upcoming season, amidst interest from Southampton.

The England international joined the Gunners from the Saints for £15m last summer, and has since then made 36 appearances for the North London outfit.

Southampton have recently had a loan move rejected for their former player, with manager Arsene Wenger stating that the versatile defender will remain at the Emirates to provide cover as back-up.
