Arsenal set to sign Gonzalo Higuain?

Arsenal are ready to seal a summer deal for long-term target Gonzalo Higuain after he rejected a new contract from Napoli.

The Argentina international joined the Naples outfit from Real Madrid in 2013, and has since then been a key member of the first-team setup.

However, the 27-year-old is thought to be keen on a fresh challenge having rebuffed a contract extension with the Serie A side.

According to Metro, the Gunners will retain their interest in talented marksman, and with Real's Karim Benzema unlikely to join the club this summer.

Higuain has notched up 53 goals in 102 outings for his club till date.
