Tottenham Hotspur in for Charlie Austin?

Tottenham Hotspur have become the latest club to express interest in signing up Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin.
The 26-year-old is expected to seal a move back to the Premier League following the R's relegation to the Championship last term.
However, the R's have been reluctant to lower their £15m asking price for the player, and this has dented his chances of joining a new club this summer.
Newcastle United were thought to be heading the pursuit for the talented frontman, but The Mirror cites that Spurs are ready to jump the ship and seal the player's signature this summer.
It is added that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is desperate to sign a new striker with Emmanuel Adebayor closing in on a loan move to Aston Villa.
Austin scored 18 league goals for the West London side last term.
