Sunderland ready bid for Moussa Dembele

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Dembele is reportedly a top transfer target for Sunderland this summer.

The Belgian international started just 10 league games for Spurs last term, but was on the club's line-up for their 1-0 opening day defeat at Manchester United.

However, The Mirror cites that the talented midfielder is still keen on finding a new challenge away from White Hart Lane before the transfer deadline.

It is added that Spurs would only offload the 28-year-old, provided they recoup all of the £15m they paid to acquire his signature from Fulham three years ago.
