Lazio plot swoop for Arsenal attacker

Italian side Lazio will look to tempt Arsenal into the sale of Costa Rican winger Joel Campbell this summer.

The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has iterated that he would like to have the 23-year-old at the Emirates for the ongoing campaign.

However, Italian source Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Lazio are keen on landing the services of the talented forward as they look to push on and challenge for the league title this season.

It is added that the Capital outfit will turn to Liverpool's Fabio Borini, should they fail to seal a deal for Campbell.
