Sunderland to sign Kevin Nolan?
Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat is pondering over a move for free-agent Kevin Nolan, according to reports.
The experienced midfielder left former club West Ham United by mutual consent earlier this week.
According to The Mirror, the Dutchman is exploring a deal for the 33-year-old midfielder, who has previously plyed his trade for arch rivals Newcastle United.
The Black Cats are on the look out for new recruits, and the arrival of Nolan could provide adequate boost in the midfield setup.
Nolan led the Hammers to Premier League promotion during his debut season in 2011.
