West Ham want Nikica Jelavic

West Ham United are lining up a bid for Hull City striker Nikica Jelavic, according to reports.

The 30-year-old has previously plyed his trade under Hammers boss Slaven Bilic for Croatia.

According to The Mail, Bilic is desperate to bring his fellow counterpart to Upton Park, as he seeks to bolster the club's striking options before the transfer deadline.

It is added that the Championship side would be willing to part with the former Rangers man for a bargain price of just £3m.

Jelavic joined the Tigers from Everton in January 2014.
