West Ham, Aston Villa battle for Adebayor

West Ham United and Aston Villa will fight it out for the services of Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
The 31-year-old is expected to seek a new club before today's 6pm transfer deadline.
According to talkSPORT, the Togolese international would favour a permanent move to Upton Park on transfer deadline day.
Meanwhile, the Telegraph reports that Villa boss Tim Sherwood is keen on a reunion with his former player, and will do anything within his reach to lure the former Arsenal man to the club.
Adebayor made just 10 appearances for Spurs in all competitions last season.
