Carlo Ancelotti distances himself from Liverpool move
Former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that he is not in the reckoning for the managerial post at Liverpool.
The experienced manager was rumoured to be one among the favourites to take over the Reds role following the sacking of Brendan Rodgers on Sunday.
However, The Express reports that the 56-year-old has no desire to return to management during the 2015/16 campaign.
It is added that Ancelotti has not held any talks regarding the vacancy at the Merseyside outfit.
"I have not had any offer from Liverpool." Ancelotti is quoted as saying by the newspaper.
Reports elsewhere claim that the Reds have offered a three-year deal to German coach Jurgen Klopp.
