Sam Allardyce to snub Kevin Nolan reunion?

New Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce has seemingly opted against a move for free-agent Kevin Nolan.
The 33-year-old is currently on the search for a new club having mutually parted ties with West Ham United over the summer.
Nolan had previously captained the likes of Newcastle United, Bolton Wanderers and West Ham United under Allardyce and this led to rumours that the experienced midfielder could be set for yet another reunion on Wearside.
However, The Telegraph understands that the 60-year-old has decided against a move for his former player due to his history with arch rivals Newcastle United.
The Black Cats host the Magpies in the Tyne-Wear derby on Sunday.
