Liverpool ponder Mario Suarez swoop

Fiorentina midfielder Mario Suarez is being closely tracked by Liverpool, according to reports.

The Spanish midfielder has been linked with a move to the Reds over the summer, but he opted to join La Viola instead.

However, the 28-year-old has since then found first-team chances hard to come by, and could seek fresh pastures elsewhere in the next transfer window.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Suarez could be offered a move to the Premier League with the Reds thought to be eager to land his services.

Suarez has not featured in the Serie A since September.
