Joel Campbell keen to take Arsenal chance

Costa Rican international Joel Campbell is eager to prove his credentials at Arsenal, according to his agent.

The 23-year-old has been on the fringes of the first-team, and had been linked with a potential exit from the Emirates over the summer.

However, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger opted to keep hold of the talented forward, and he is now getting his chances following injuries to Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Agent Joaquim Batica now insists that his client is desperate to make amends, and will seek to make the most of his chances in the starting line-up.

Campbell scored his first league goal for the Gunners during their 3-0 victory at Swansea City last weekend.
