Inter Milan plot Lamela swoop

Serie A high-flyers Inter Milan are hot on the trail of Tottenham Hotspur winger Erik Lamela, according to reports.

The Nerazzurri have made an excellent start to their league campaign this season, and are likely to ring more changes during the January transfer window.

Italian publication Corriere dello Sport, manager Roberto Mancini has casted his eye on several players plying their trade in the English Premier League.

It is added that Spurs' star Lamela is deemed as one among the top targets for his side in the New Year.

Lamela has struggled to adapt to the English game ever since his record-switch from AS Roma in 2013.
