Corinthians confirm Alexandre Pato deal

Brazilian side Corinthians have confirmed that they have struck a verbal agreement for the transfer of striker Alexandre Pato to Liverpool.

Recent speculation had claimed that both clubs had agreed a deal in principle to land the former AC Milan star.

Corinthians president Roberto de Andrade has now admitted that the speculation is indeed true and the player will be allowed to move to Liverpool in the next transfer window.
