Barcelona interested in Robin van Persie

Fenerbahce striker Robin van Persie is regarded as a top transfer target for Barcelona in the winter transfer window.

The Netherlands international linked up with the Turkish side over the summer following three seasons with Manchester United.

However, he has struggled to settle at the Istanbul outfit, and has only scored five goals in 17 appearances for the side.

Spanish outlet Fichajes claims that the 32-year-old is considering his options with the New Year close coming.

It is added that Barca may move for his services as they seek a potential cover for Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar.

Van Persie spent eight seasons with Arsenal before heading to United in 2012.
