Liverpool target ponders Serie A exit

Former Italy international Giuseppe Rossi is considering a possible exit from Fiorentina in the next transfer window.

The 28-year-old has had his fair share of injury problems since joining the Florence outfit from Villareal in 2013.

In spite of returning to full fitness, Rossi has struggled to earn a regular starting place under Paulo Sousa this season.

According to La Nazione, the experienced striker is not content with the amount of game-time at La Viola, and he could express his desire for a fresh challenge in the New Year.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is said to be monitoring the player's situation in recent weeks.
