Thomas Muller signs new Bayern Munich deal

Manchester United's hopes of landing German forward Thomas Muller have been dashed following news that he has agreed to extend his stay at Bayern Munich.

The 26-year-old had been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford in the summer, with some reports claiming that the Red Devils had failed with a record bid for the German international.

Sport1 now claims that United may well forget their chances of landing the World Cup winner as he has supposedly agreed a contract extension at the Allianz Arena.

The report adds that the new deal will keep the talented attacker at Bavaria until the summer of 2021.

Muller has notched 13 goals and 3 assists in the Bundesliga this season.
