Arsenal consider Javier Hernandez bid

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly planning a winter offer for ex-Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez.

The Mexican international joined Bayer Leverkusen in the summer after he was deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.

Since then, Chicharito has been in fine form for the Bundesliga outfit, scoring 18 goals in all competitions.

Catalan daily Sport claims that the player's showing has not gone unnoticed, with a number of top European sides vying for his services.

Adding to this, the Gunners will start the bidding war with an initial bid of around £13.2m for the Mexican international.

Hernandez netted 59 goals in 157 appearances for United between 2010 and 2015.
