Liverpool chasing Mario Suarez

Fiorentina midfielder Mario Suarez is the subject of interest from Premier League side Liverpool.

The Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is expected to bring in a couple of fresh faces following the club's lacklustre display in the 2-0 defeat to West Ham United at Boleyn Ground.

Italian source Gazzetta dello Sport understands that Suarez could be on his way out of Florence having failed to cement a regular role under Paulo Sousa.

The report adds that the Reds are one among the clubs interested in a winter deal for the midfield enforcer.

Liverpool are currently eighth in the league standings with 30 points.
