Swansea City to re-sign Wilfried Bony ?

Swansea City are reportedly considering the option of re-signing striker Wilfried Bony from Manchester City.

The Ivory Coast international linked up with the Citizens last January following an excellent spell in the league with the Swans.

Since then, Bony has struggled to firm a regular place in the starting line-up with manager Manuel Pellegrini preferring Argentine star Sergio Aguero ahead of him in the pecking order.

According to The Mirror, the Swans are expected to offload Jonjo Shelvey this month with a host of Premier League sides battling for the £14m-rated midfielder.

The report adds that the Welsh side will use the funds recouped to bring Bony back to the Liberty Stadium.

City are said to be willing to let go of Bony at the right price.
