Swansea City chasing Emmanuel Adebayor?

Swansea City are rumoured to have made contact with the agent of Emmanuel Adebayor. The Togo international is currently available on a free transfer; having left Tottenham Hotspur last summer.
The Swans are ready to sell Bafetimbi Gomis to Newcastle United and are ready to replace him with veteran striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
The former Arsenal, Real Madrid and Manchester City man has struggled in recent years to hold down a regular first team place but is known to be desperate for a stay in England and will do whatever it takes to push through a deal before the end of the January transfer window.
The Swans are to start an ambitious rebuilding programme during the mid-season; a very risky move considering their disappointing position in the Premier League.
