Chelsea plot summer Higuain deal

Chelsea have made Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain their top target for the summer transfer window.

The Argentina international is said to have rebuffed a move to the Blues last month as he was reluctant to share his duties with Diego Costa.

Italian sources now reveal that the Blues will seek to lure the talented marksman this summer, with the guarantee of a regular starting role in the Premier League.

It is also understood that the arrival of Higuain at Stamford Bridge could trigger Costa's return to La Liga with former club Atletico Madrid.

The Blues are currently 13th in the league standings with 30 points.
