Guardiola wants Arteta
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola will reportedly seek to add Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta to his backroom staff this summer.
The 33-year-old has struggled to firm a regular place at the Emirates over the past year mainly due to his injury troubles.
According to The Express, incoming City boss Guardiola will look to offer a full-time coaching role to Arteta, should he be willing to call quits on his career this term.
It is added that Guardiola is a close friend to the Gunners skipper and this may play a role in his final decision.
Arteta joined the Gunners from Everton for £10m in 2011.
