PSG plot Firmino swoop

French giants Paris Saint-Germain are weighing up a shock bid for Liverpool attacker Roberto Firmino, sources reveal.

The Brazil international linked up with the Reds from German side Hoffenheim last summer.

Firmino had a slow start to the campaign under former boss Brendan Rodgers, and this led to claims he may fail to succeed in the English top flight.

However, with the appointment of Jurgen Klopp. the 24-year-old has found the spark to his game which has contributed to the Reds' goal tally in recent months.

According to Spanish source Fichajes, Les Parisiens' boss Laurent Blanc is a huge admirer of the player's talents, and will do all within his reach to lure him to Parc des Princes this summer.

Firmino has scored six league goals for Liverpool this season.
